For this, we were instructed to choose a medium of our choice to create something that holds personal significance. I decided to base my work on my faith, so I chose the Parable of the Lost Sheep from Luke 15:1-7. The story talks about one sheep that gets lost from a herd of 100, and the shepherd goes to find the lost sheep and rejoices when it is found. This passage represents those who don’t know God or have turned away from Him. It says, “In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” (Luke 15:7 NLT)

For this assignment, we were given the freedom to design postcards featuring anything that inspired us. Since I really enjoy the animated show Bob's Burgers, I chose to base my postcards on it. I illustrated two well-known settings from the series: the boardwalk and the Belcher family’s home, which also serves as their burger restaurant. My goal was to capture the charm and atmosphere of these locations as they appear in the show.

For this assignment, we were instructed to choose a poem and illustrate it. I chose the poem Pond World and decided to incorporate all the seasons into one illustration, representing the changes at the pond throughout the year. The artwork captures the author's observations as they sit by the pond in their garden, recording their thoughts in a journal.
